Our university was established in the Alanya district of Antalya pursuant to Additional Article 161 added to Law No. 2809, in accordance with Law No. 6640, titled “Law on Amendments to the Law on the Organization of Higher Education Institutions and Certain Laws and Decree-Laws”, which was adopted by the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye on March 31, 2015, and published in the Official Gazette on April 23, 2015. The academic units of our university are as follows:
- Faculty of Education, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Medicine, which were established by changing their names and affiliations while previously affiliated with the Rectorate of Akdeniz University, and which were then affiliated with the Rectorate;
- Akseki Vocational School, Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vocational School, and Gazipaşa Mustafa Rahmi Büyükballı Vocational School, which were established by changing their affiliations while previously affiliated with the Rectorate of Akdeniz University, and which were then affiliated with the Rectorate;
- Newly established Institute of Social Sciences, Institute of Health Sciences, and Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences, affiliated with the Rectorate.
