ALKU Mechanical Engineering Program aims to graduate students with the following qualifications:
- Preferred in works related to research, development, product design and advanced technology in manufacturing, automotive, energy, defense and other industrial sectors
- Capable of taking engineering authority and responsibility in production, maintenance, quality control, and other works, and services in industrial and engineering facilities
- Capable of taking part in international projects with effective English communication skills
- Aware of the ethical responsibilities of the mechanical engineering profession with the capability of analytical and critical thinking
- Capable of improving learning outcomes gained in the mechanical engineering program with the awareness of lifetime learning through vocational training and/or graduate studies
Seminars and technical trips are organized to support the educational objectives of the program. Students are informed and encouraged to participate in international internships, student exchange programs and project competitions. In order to determine whether the educational objectives of the program have been achieved, interviews are held with employer institutions, departmental advisory board, industry, and professional chambers.
